Rachael Lary

Rachael is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern currently pursuing her Master of Arts degree at Wake Forest University. Bridging over a decade of experience as a yoga educator and E-RYT 500 yoga instructor, Rachael provides a grounding, inclusive, and non-judgmental therapeutic space. She is deeply passionate about the mind-body connection and meets clients where they are on their mental health journey. Rachael works with individuals navigating various challenges, including, anxiety, life transitions, boundary setting, and caregiver burnout.

Because she believes the therapeutic process is unique to every individual, Rachael utilizes an integrative and evidence-based approach. She frequently incorporates Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions to help clients reconnect with their internal balance. Additionally, she holds a certification in Applied Suicide Interventions Skills Training (ASIST). Rachael is dedicated to empowering her clients to cultivate self-compassion, integrate effective coping strategies, and find tangible resilience on their healing journey.

In her free time, Rachael enjoys practicing yoga, spending quality time with her daughter, and getting to the greenway to hike local trails and explore nature.
