Candis is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and confidence. She earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Cleveland State University and spent seven years teaching elementary school in Lake County, Ohio and Prince William County, Virginia. She later earned her master’s degree in organizational human resource development from Abilene Christian University, along with a certificate in Conflict Resolution, and is currently pursuing her second master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling.
Candis enjoys working one-on-one with clients navigating anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. Her therapeutic approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Client-Centered Therapy, creating a supportive and collaborative space where clients feel heard and empowered. She can incorporate either a secular or faith-based perspective based on client preference.
Outside of work, Candis enjoys music, lifting weights, and spending time with family, friends, and her pups.
