Aryan is a counselor-in-training completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with an expected graduation date of December 2026. Through her clinical
training and counseling experiences, she has gained experience working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, emotional distress, life transitions, career exploration, and relationship concerns. As she continues her clinical training, she looks forward to expanding her experience with clients across various age groups and family dynamics.
Aryan believes that effective counseling begins with creating a genuine, nonjudgmental relationship where clients feel comfortable being themselves. Her approach is
compassionate and collaborative, helping clients better understand the connections between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences. She strives to meet clients
where they are while encouraging growth, self-awareness, and meaningful change.
Her primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also drawing from DBT-informed skills, principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
(ACT), person-centered counseling, and trauma-informed care. She enjoys helping clients develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen emotional regulation, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and build practical skills for navigating difficult experiences and periods of change.
Aryan enjoys working with clients across different ages and stages of life and has a particular interest in understanding complex mental health concerns, including serious
mental illness. She is passionate about continuing to expand her knowledge of evidence based treatments and developing the clinical skills necessary to support individuals whose struggles may feel overwhelming or difficult to understand. She believes that a diagnosis or challenging period in someone’s life is only one part of their story and should never define the whole person.
Whether someone is struggling with anxiety, navigating a major life transition, experiencing relationship difficulties, or simply trying to make sense of complicated emotions, Aryan strives to provide a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. Her goal is to help clients recognize their strengths, better understand themselves, and develop tools they can carry with them beyond the counseling room.
Outside of counseling, Aryan enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Jax. She values continued personal and professional growth and
hopes to pursue doctoral-level education in the future.
