Sydnie is a Clinical Mental Health Intern who is pursuing her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Winthrop University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in
Psychology from North Carolina A&T State University and has experience with substance abuse and autism spectrum disorder. Sydnie enjoys working with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, life transitions, and other everyday stressors. Her approach to counseling is warm,
collaborative, and nonjudgmental, creating a space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves. She primarily draws from Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while incorporating different approaches based on each client’s individual needs.
