Dr. Andrea Whitener is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina and a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina with more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field. She earned her Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Webster University in Greenville, South Carolina, and her Doctor of Education in Learning and Organizational Change from Baylor University.
Throughout her career, Dr. Whitener has been passionate about supporting children and adolescents as they navigate life’s challenges. Her clinical interests include working with
young people experiencing depression, anxiety, difficulties with impulse control, and anger management concerns. She strives to create a supportive and welcoming environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to develop healthy coping skills and build upon their strengths.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Whitener enjoys spending time with her daughter
and family, traveling, and watching sports whenever she gets the opportunity.
