Jessica is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals and couples navigating trauma, relationship difficulties, ADHD, emotional overwhelm, and longstanding relational patterns that continue to impact present-day life. She believes many of the struggles people experience—whether in relationships, self-worth, anxiety, emotional regulation, or communication—often have roots in earlier experiences, attachment wounds, and the roles people learned to take on within their families and
relationships.
Her therapeutic style is relational, insight-oriented, and holistic, blending warmth, curiosity, and practical support. Jessica works collaboratively with clients to better understand the deeper “why” beneath patterns that feel repetitive, exhausting, or difficult to change. She especially values helping clients move beyond survival-based coping patterns and toward greater emotional clarity, connection, and authenticity.
Jessica is trained in EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic approaches, attachment-focused work, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into therapy. Her approach is deeply informed by the mind-body connection, intergenerational dynamics, and the understanding that meaningful healing often requires both insight and nervous system regulation, not simply symptom management.
When working with couples, Jessica helps partners navigate communication breakdowns, emotional disconnection, unresolved conflict, betrayal, and the impact of past wounds on present relationships. She strives to create a space where clients feel safe enough to explore difficult emotions while also feeling supported, challenged, and empowered toward meaningful change.
Jessica offers both secular and faith-integrated counseling based on client preference.
Born and raised in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, Jessica values authenticity, meaningful connection, and the unique stories and experiences that shape each person. Outside of counseling, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, family, and friends; drinking entirely too much coffee (hot or iced—she’s not picky); walking her dog, gardening, photography, painting, and tackling creative DIY and building projects around the house.
