Sydney earned her masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Winthrop University. She has a bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Spanish from Wingate University. During this time, she’s been present at Thrive as an intern, gaining experience and working one on one with clients. This, combined with her previous role as a RBT, where she worked with children who suffered from Autism Spectrum Disorder, has added to her ability to care and assist those she comes in contact with.
Sydney eagerly continues at Thrive as a Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate and looks forward to forming a therapeutic relationship with a diverse clientele in order to help them meet their goals.
Sydney enjoys a personalized and eclectic approach to counseling while utilizing various techniques based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rogerian Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and much more.
