Mrs. Megan Burton is a Masters Level intern through Abilene Christian University. She received 2 Associate Degrees from
Gaston College (Associate of Art [2005] and Associate of Applied Science in Human Services
[2012]). She received her Bachelors Degree in Applied Psychology from Belmont Abbey in 2014 and she is currently working on finishing her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She worked as a case manager for the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs for approximately 7 years. She has experience in the outpatient setting working with children, teenagers, adults, couples and families. Megan utilizes Integrative Behavioral Therapy in her practice, incorporating aspects of other
therapeutic models as needed.
