Jessica O'Shields

Jessica Henry received her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and has a bachelors in Psychology with Christian Counseling from Liberty University. Her focus is dedicated to helping individuals and couples who are struggling to develop healthy relationships, connect their thought processes with their emotions/behaviors to bring change to areas they find are not working for them. Jessica is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which, is a great therapeutic technique for trauma, anxiety, depression, and other emotional distress issues.
In combination with EMDR, she uses various therapeutic techniques to best serve the unique needs of each client. Her preferred therapeutic techniques lean toward Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Client- Centered Therapy. She can utilize a secular or theological approach according to client request and preference. In her free time she enjoys photography, painting, and traveling. She loves spending time with her family, friends, as well as her dog, cat, and pet pig (yes, pet pig)
