Kristin is a Master's level intern through Colorado Christian University. She is pursuing a second career
having begun as a scenic artist in NYC. After 10 years in the movie and theater industry, she moved to the Carolinas, where Kristin’s life journey led her to a deep passion for mental health healing.
Kristin specializes in marriage and family therapy and is passionate about helping children and families of all ages navigate any difficulties they are experiencing. She is Gottman certified in levels 1 and 2, where she can help defuse conflicting verbal communication while increasing respect and affection as well as heightening empathy and understanding within couples and families. She also holds a certification in HeartMath biofeedback technology to expertly assist in maintaining stress, anxiety, and depression. Using this technology works through trauma by regulating cohesion between the heart and brain. Kristin is a
person-centered and emotion-focused therapist.
