Courtney franklin

Masters level intern

Mrs. Courtney Franklin is a Masters Level intern through Winthrop University. She received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from Winthrop University in 2022 and she is currently working on finishing her Masters degree in Counseling and Development - Clinical Mental Health Counseling track. She has experience in the outpatient setting working with teenagers and adults in regards to depression, anxiety, adjusting to life changes, and neurodiversity. She has presented research at various engagements regarding emotional well being, aspects of advocacy, and multiculturalism. She uses various therapeutic practices including; constructivist therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative therapy, existential therapy, and other strengths-based approaches. She also enjoys using ACT, CBT, DBT and other interventions during therapy sessions.
