Trey is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA). Trey holds a Masters degree in Counseling and Development from Winthrop University and a Bachelors in Psychology from Liberty University. Trey’s prior experience was with the Winthrop Community Counseling Clinic. Trey has a wealth of experience working with a vast array of individuals. Trey has experience working with individuals with mood disorders, grief,
religious trauma, autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, LGBTQ+ concerns, relationship issues, and suicidal ideation. Trey’s theoretical orientation is a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral and Person-Centered theories, although his treatment modalities also incorporate practices from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and Humanistic therapies. Trey has worked with a wide range of age groups, but he prefers to work with children and adolescents.
