Anna Grace is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in South Carolina and an outpatient counselor at Thrive Family Services. Anna Grace obtained her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Winthrop University. Anna Grace is currently working towards becoming a Licensed Independent Social Worker in a clinical practice setting (LISW-CP) in South Carolina. Anna Grace has received most of her counseling experience working with children and adolescents at Rock Hill Pediatrics in the behavioral health unit and during her education at Winthrop University. Anna Grace also completed research on mental health and perceptions of college students at Winthrop University which was published and presented at numerous conferences. As a social worker, Anna Grace tends to utilize various therapeutic techniques in order to cater to the unique qualities of each and every client. However, Anna Grace prefers to work with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while focusing on the Strengths Perspective (SP) and Person-In-Environment (PIE). Anna Grace strives to bring all individuals to a place where they feel comfortable taking control of their life and taking pride in the path they are able to confidently navigate for themselves. Anna Grace enjoys spending time with her leopard gecko and kitten or spending time with friends and family.
